Topics

Topics are used to organize content by areas other than what are in the filters. Topics include special collections, such as the work compiled by the Science Mission Directorate (SMD) Education and Public Outreach (E/PO) Community about engaging diverse audiences, evaluating project impact, or professional development resources for understanding misconceptions in Earth and Space Science. Topics will continue to be added by the SMD E/PO community.

When you select a topic,, there will be a list of content – similar to the Feed – showing posts and calendar events that have been marked as relevant to that topic. Topics are usually more specific than the filters. For example, instead of all conference / meeting content, the topic may be Conference: AGU 2013, and only content specific to the 2013 American Geophysical Union conference will be presented. Filter the content with the same filters as in the Feed.
