Tina Harte received her M.S. in Secondary Science Education with an emphasis in Earth and Space Science in 2005, from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She taught middle school science for 18 years in West Tennessee and West Kentucky. She served as President of the Tennessee Earth Science Teachers Association for two years and served on the Tennessee State Leadership Team for the Development of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). She has worked extensively with the NGSS and its framework aligning current projects and resources to provide learning activities to classroom teachers. Currently she is Task Lead for the Education Team of the NASA Langley Science Directorate as a contractor with SSAI. As Task Lead she fulfills the role as the Training Coordinar for the LaRC GLOBE Partnership and oversees the My NASA Data and GLOBE Cloud Teams, as they work to support GLOBE Mission Earth and NESEC. In her role as Co-Lead for NASA's collaboration with the American Camp Association, she works with camp directors to identify NASA and GLOBE based learning opportunities for campers.
