Kristin M. Bass, Ph.D., is a Senior Researcher at Rockman et al, a San Francisco-based external evaluation company. Kristin’s areas of expertise include assessment development and validation, program fidelity, research design and quantitative analysis. At Rockman, she primarily directs projects related to formal and informal STEM education. Her astronomy-related work has included evaluations of the Galileo Educator Network EPOESS program for the Astronomical Society of the Pacific; the Universe Quest afterschool program developed by the University of California Space Sciences Lab, Girl Scouts of Northern California and ASP; and portable planetarium presentations provided to public schools by Jackson State University. Kristin has a B.A. in psychology from Yale University and a Ph.D. in education and psychology from the University of Michigan.
