As part of the celebration of National Women’s History Month 2013, NASA en Español will broadcast a Google+ hangout in Spanish with two Hispanic scientists from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). This event, organized by IGES as part of the NASA Science4Girls initiative, is designed for school-aged girls and their families to participate in order to encourage them and interest them in science careers. During the one-hour long interview, which will be moderated by IGES’ Laura Delgado López, Dr. Erika Podest, Earth scientist, and Dr. Michela Muñoz Fernández, principal investigator and systems engineer, will share their stories and careers at NASA. They will take question asked in advance or during the hangout. Questions may be submitted via Twitter (@NASA_Es). Tune in to the NASA Television YouTube channel or the NASA Google+ page (http://bit.ly/16LSSKT) to watch the hangout. http://women.nasa.gov/translation/
