Learn about a variety of versatile, hands-on activities that scientists can use to engage different audiences in planetary science. All planetary scientists (including researchers, engineers, and graduate students) are invited to join to discuss effective strategies and share your experiences and favorite activities. Speakers include Amelia Chapman (NASA JPL) who helps run NASA’s Museum and Informal Education Alliance’s community of practice, Eve Klein (Institute for Learning Innovation) whose programs help organizations connect public audiences with local research through dialogue with scientists, and Christine Shupla, LPI’s Science Engagement Manager.
