Black Hole Week

Black Hole Week is coming up on May 2-6! This is a week where communications teams around the world will be celebrating black holes in all their glory. The NASA Goddard AstroComms Team is organizing the week and NASA’s involvement. However, this activity isn't limited to NASA — organizations from across the globe will be participating including NSF, LIGO, ESA, NRAO, and NOIRLab.

There will be news releases, videos, and loads of social media posts throughout the week. Those of you on social media, please feel free to join the conversation using the hashtag #BlackHoleWeek. The @NASAUniverse accounts on Facebook and Twitter will be leading the week — you’re welcome to chime in with your own content about black holes. Feel free to get in touch with the NASA Universe team at if you’d like to learn more about Black Hole Week or discuss ways to participate in it.
