JAXA-NASA COOPERATION IN ADDRESSING CLIMATE CHANGE, July 21, 2021, virtual, 9:00 am ET

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and NASA will hold a webinar on July 21, 2021 from 9:00-10:00 am Eastern Daylight Time/10:00-11:00 pm Japan Standard Time.

The topic is “JAXA-NASA Cooperation in Addressing Climate Change.”

Participants are:

  • Dr. Gavin Schmidt, NASA Senior Climate Adviser (Acting) and Director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies
  • Prof. Tadahiro Hayasaka, Senior Advisor of JAXA’s Earth Observation Research Center

 

​​​​​​​They will present current and future climate missions of JAXA and NASA and discuss the importance of international partnership in addressing climate change.
