The EI LIVE K-12 channel features experts from across the Earth Institute presenting relevant sustainability content in 45-minute live sessions for K12 students and educators. On Thursday June 3, Nicholas Frearson, Senior Staff Associate, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, will talk about how scientists are analyzing volcanic data in real time to identify patterns that will help them anticipate future eruptions. During each EI K-12 session the NASA Education Program Specialist from NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies provides supplemental NASA education, content, platforms and resources relevant to the weekly topic for further exploration and discovery.

There Goes that Boom Boom Pow! will be presented this Thursday June 3 at 4:00 PM - 4:45 PM ET.
