Event information

In collaboration with Columbia University’s Earth Institute, we would like to invite you to a series of webinars for K-12 students and educators. The EI LIVE K-12 channel will feature experts from across the Earth Institute presenting relevant sustainability content in 45-minute live sessions for K12 students and educators.  Today, April 26, Jacky Austermann, Assistant Professor, Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, will take students on a virtual journey to the Bahamas to learn about what rocks and fossils on these Caribbean islands can tell us about past and future sea level change. During each EI K-12 session the NASA Education Program Specialist from NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies will provide supplemental NASA education, content, platforms and resources relevant to the weekly topic for further exploration and discovery.

Today’s episode (April 26), is entitled Tropical Tales of Polar Ice and will be presented at 4:00 PM - 4:45 PM ET.
