In collaboration with Columbia University’s Earth Institute, we would like to invite you to a series of webinars for K-12 students and educators. The EI LIVE K-12 channel will feature experts from across the Earth Institute presenting relevant sustainability content in 45-minute live sessions for K12 students and educators. This Thursday, Jackie Ratner, Senior Project Manager at National Center for Disaster Preparedness, will talk to students about how scientists are using data and visuals to create and communicate narrative around climate change. During each EI K-12 session the NASA Education Program Specialist from NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies will provide supplemental NASA education, content, platforms and resources relevant to the weekly topic for further exploration and discovery.
This Thursday’s episode (April 8), is entitled Data Storytelling and will be presented at 4:00 PM ET.
