The 2021 STEM for All Video Showcase: COVID, Equity and Social Justice will be held May 11 – 18, 2021. Consider presenting a short video.
- Registration is open until February 12th and is required to participate at https://stemforall2021.videohall.com.
- Video submission will occur March 2 -- April 21.
From the STEM For All Video Showcase team:
We are especially interested in presentation narratives that share how your project survived, adapted, and changed due to COVID-19. What did you learn that will carry forward? What was the impact of COVID on your thinking about equity, access and broadening participation in STEM? Tell your story!
We are aware that many of you have been working virtually and have not been allowed to be in your work setting. We realize that you will need to rely more on stock footage, graphics, animation, screen captures, and video interviews. Your video presentation may have less pizazz, but it will still tell the story of your project. Together with other submissions, it will show the adaptability, creativity, and passion to continue to advance STEM education, broadening participation, even in the midst of a pandemic.
We will be hosting a webinar featuring our videographer Jim Galdos, who will brainstorm creative ways to create a video during this trying time. This will be held on January 26th at 3:00 PM, ET. Sign up for webinar today! We also provide some sample 2020 videos on our Home page that utilize graphics and animation. These may provide ideas to convey your project’s story during COVID-19.
All those who are interested in presenting a video in the Showcase must register before February 12th. Visit the home page (https://stemforall2021.videohall.com) where you will see a link to register and other important presenter information.
The Showcase is funded by the National Science Foundation (#1922641). It is facilitated by TERC in collaboration with the following resource centers and organizations: CADRE, CIRCLS, CAISE, STEMTLnet, STELAR, CS for All Teachers, NSF INCLUDES, QEM, NARST, NCTM and NSTA.
