On June 30, the American Museum of Natural History and NASA@My Library, in partnership with the Lunar and Planetary Institute, hosted a live webcast "Follow Perseverance to Mars." The “virtual field trip” used AMNH’s OpenSpace to take viewers to the landing site of the Mars 2020 rover, led by AMNH’s Director of Astrovisualization Carter Emmart. LPI Staff Scientists Germán Martínez and Kennda Lynch, and NASA Johnson Space Center Exploration Mission Scientist Liz Rampe participated on-screen and in the chat.
