On July 15, 2020, My NASA Data's Elizabeth Joyner presented "Find, Access, and Visualize Data with My NASA Data's Earth System Data Explorer" to 53 educators attending the 2020 Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) Teacher Workshop.

The two-day teacher workshop featured NASA, NOAA, and university partners as they showcased Earth Science data visualization tools and resources.   Teachers in attendance were middle science through university level educators who are interested in incorporating authentic data in the classroom.

The Earth System Data Explorer is a great tool for accessing NASA data; but don’t take our word for it.

Comments from participants:

•"I love that there are data at my fingertips and all the lessons and mini lessons that are available for me to use."

“I love how much data there are, and how flexible the interface is, while providing a few more guardrails than Giovanni.”

•“Large number of resources. Easy to create data visualizations.”

•"Ease of use, depth of data, functionality"

•“…For remote learning, I can [teach students to use the tool] just the way you guys did it.”
