"Camp Connect" - Reaching Youth in Rural Western North Carolina

Interns at The Learning Center at the Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute prepared and distributed STEM@Home science kits for homebound students unable to attend summer camp due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Over 100 kits were distributed across western North Carolina to students in grades 6 -12 through the funding and support of cooperative agreement NNX16AB87A.
“Camp Connect” is a month long (July 1 – August 6) interactive distance learning science experience exploring topics ranging from stellar and planetary astronomy to cryptography. More information can be found at: https://www.pari.edu/camp-connect-2020/
