During the fall semester of 2019, GLOBE Mission EARTH University Professors Drs. Kevin Czajkowski and Mark Templin from the University of Toledo (UT), Ohio and Dr. David Padgett from Tennessee State University (TSU) engaged their Undergraduate, Pre-Service Education Students in educating K-12 students about GLOBE and conducting research. The K-12 students observed clouds and the heights of trees on their school grounds. They also collected surface temperature data and learned about urban heat islands. Students then uploaded their data to the GLOBE website (www.globe.gov).
