Death Valley Dark Sky Festival 2019

Death Valley’s unique landscape and dark skies help us glimpse and better understand the wonders beyond our world. The Death Valley Dark Sky Festival celebrates these resources and the rich heritage of NASA science and engineering research conducted in the park. The 2019 event drew about 2,500 visitors, with positive reports from visitors, scientists, and rangers involved. The event is a collaboration of NASA, the National Park Service, the Death Valley Natural HIstory Association, and many other organizations.
