The MEI (MUREP Educator Institute) attendees received GLOBE Training in Clouds and Surface Temperature Protocols at the NASA Centers this summer. NASA’S Minority University Research and Education Project (MUREP) invites professors and their education students to attend a 5-day institute at each center. This year GLOBE trainers worked alongside with NASA education specialists to train the MEI participants. Marile Colon Robles from NASA Langley, and Dr. Kevin Czajkowski, lead scientist for the GLOBE Urban Heat Island Effect Campaign, worked over the past year with both groups via zoom to make this opportunity happen.

Thank you to the NASA Educational Specialists and GLOBE Trainers who made this possible!
