On Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Monroe Community College , 9 teams of 45 students from grades 5 through 12 participated in Apollo Next Giant Leap Student Challenge (ANGLeS) celebrating the Apollo 11 landing on the moon. The winning team, Crypto Cyborgs, is going to NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.

- On June 26th, over 200 military members and their families learned about the Moon 2024 campaign, the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter mission, the upcoming 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, and general lunar science from outreach specialists from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s Solar System Exploration Division.
