Follow Perseverance to Mars (OpenSpace & NASA @ My Library Livestream)

The teams registered in the ROADS on Mars Freestyle student challenge submitted their videos and Mission Development Log May 21. Some 50 teams with 225 students and over a 100 parents in 19 states worked with the students to complete the challenge that required team work in an era of social distancing due to the Covid `19 pandemic. Aileen Toback, a seventh-grade life science teacher at Heritage Middle School in New Windsor, NY, is also a NASA GISS Climate Change Research Initiative Educator Ambassador. Ms. Toback has been participating in meetings with NASA scientists and engaged her students in a snowflake classification project which is part of NASA climate change research.
