The American Astronomical Society (AAS) Solar Eclipse Task Force invites you to join us for a virtual eclipse-planning workshop to be held Friday-Saturday, April 8-9, 2022, online via Zoom. NASA Spotlite Challenge: Cloud Detectives
Developed in Collaboration with NASA Earth Science Education Collaborative

NASA eClips and NESEC invite student teams to produce a short video (90 seconds to 2 minutes) confronting one of two misconceptions related to clouds by investigating and collecting evidence, including GLOBE Clouds and NASA data.

In this challenge, student teams:

  • Confront a science misconception by gathering evidence through observations and explorations
  • Capture questions and findings through video
  • Produce a video to challenge others to make their own observations
