The 2012 National Afterschool Association Annual Convention will be held in Dallas, Texas April 2-4. More information about the conference can be found here: http://bit.ly/ldpkUy.
Following the precedent set in previous years, the Convention will feature three perennial core themes focused on the key issues every afterschool professional faces every day: “Advancing the Afterschool Profession,” “Leading Afterschool,” and “Learning in Afterschool.” The 2012 Convention will also feature two new themes, “Igniting Inquiry & Creativity: Putting the STEAM into STEM” and “Blended Learning: Enriching Afterschool with Online Learning,” developed to focus on hot issues and to take advantage of the unique place and partnerships that 2012 will offer.
