White House to Explain New STEM Strategy to House Committee Next Week

The Obama Administration's new STEM education strategy, which would move many NASA education activities to other agencies, will be explained to the House Science, Space and Technology Committee next week. The hearing will be held on Jun 4, 2013 at 11:00am PT / 12:00pm MT / 1:00pm CT / 2:00pm ET.

Launch of GLOBE Student Climate Research Campaign

On Sept. 12, The GLOBE Program launched the Student Climate Research Campaign. This campaign will engage students in measuring, investigating and understanding the climate system in their local communities and around the world. Students will learn about climate through foundational learning activities and intensive observing periods that will be implemented in GLOBE classrooms around the world from 2011-2013.
