On June 16 - 18, 2017, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center participated in AwesomeCon, Washington DC’s ComicCon held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Led and primarily funded by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter team, GSFC hosted a booth in the FutureCon area of the Exhibition Space as well as 7 panels.​ NASA participated in 13 panels overall, reaching hundreds of people.
